This week, the European Parliament in Brussels suddenly looks a lot more colourful. This is thanks to the 16 meter long ‘Rainbow Dress’, designed and made in Amsterdam from the flags of 75 countries (all outside the EU) where homosexuality is still punishable in 2018. ALDE Group First Vice-President Sophie in ‘t Veld took the initiative to host the dress in the Parliament as a special way to celebrate the International Day Against Homophobia, Transphobia and Biphobia (IDAHOTB, May 17).

From 4-8 July the Amsterdam Rainbow Dress will be in Madrid for the Pride. On invitation of the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands we will present the Amsterdam Rainbow Dress during the Pride. Besides that we will be doing a photoshoot in an iconic Spanish setting.

From 7 -11 June 2018 the Amsterdam Rainbow Dress was in Athens for the Athens Pride. On invitation of the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands with support of the Municipality of Amsterdam we presented the Amsterdam Rainbow Dress during the pride. Besides that we did a photoshoot in the most iconic Greek setting.
